Charging In: UFL Introduces the Colorado Stampede as Its Newest Team - SportsLogos.Net News
A charging bison with a hidden "C" and "S" colours pulled from Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak, and a home field 6,035 feet up, let's all welcome the Colorado Stampede as the UFL's newest team. The United Football League (UFL) has introduced the Colorado Stampede as its newest team. The team's name and logo were unveiled at a launch party at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, where the team will begin playing in the 2027 season. The logo features a charging bison wearing a “C” on its forehead for Colorado, a reference to the state's gold rush era, and a hidden “S” for the Springs. The Stampedes will play their first home game at Weidener Field on April 11. This move is part of a larger shuffle in the UFL for 2027, with the Houston Gamblers moving to Dallas and the Birmingham Stallions moving to Rhode Island.
