MW Men's Golfer of the Week – March 28 – Mountain West Conference Fresno State senior Matthew Manganello has been named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week, marking his third consecutive weekly award. Manganell tied for third at The Duck Invitational, where he shot a 2-under-par 211 and held the individual lead until the final round. This was his highest finish of the season and second top-10 showing of the 2023-24 season. The tournament included 12 teams ranked in the top 100 nationally, including six top-50 teams and a pair of top-25 teams.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State senior Matthew Manganello has been named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week.
The weekly honor is the third of Manganello’s career. He claimed the award twice last season in addition to earning monthly honors once.

• Tied for third at The Duck Invitational, hosted by the University of Oregon at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon.
• Shot a 2-under-par 211, opening with consecutive rounds of 3-under 68 and 2-under 69 to hold the individual lead entering the final round.
• Turned in his highest finish of the season and second top-10 showing of the 2023-24 campaign.
• Helped Fresno State to a ninth-place finish in a field that included 12 teams ranked in the top 100 nationally, including six top-50 teams and a pair of top-25 teams in tournament winner Illinois (No. 21) and the host Ducks (No. 24). Fellow Mountain West squads Boise State, Colorado State and San José State were among the 15-team field.
