A cold front finally brought some winter weather to Colorado last weekend, just in time for residents and visitors to ring in the new year, and what better way than with fireworks? The New Year's Eve fireworks shows in Colorado are a popular way to celebrate New Years Eve with a big celebration. In Denver, the annual Denver fireworks shows will be seen twice, with some of the largest in the state. The Adamican's Fireworks Show outside of Colorado Springs is scheduled to take place at the top of Pikes Peak at 10:30 p.m. The most popular places to celebrate the new year are in Colorado's mountain towns and resorts. The City of Aspen's fireworks display will take place on New Year Eve, with free public skating available at the Aspen Ice Garden and public dancing available. Other notable events include a Torch Run Parade and fireworks at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
