The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is working to repair Highways 151 and 160, which have been closed until the water recedes. Additionally, Lisa Schwantes from CDOT said Highway 151 is in worse shape near Chimney Rock National Monument. Despite the extensive repairs, the town is still open for business. Schwantes urged the public not to be scared to come to the situation but to stay safe.
