The bridge, which opened in 2025, is nearly nine times higher above the water than San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge and stretches nearly 2.9 kilometers (1.8 miles) across the landscape. It was designed to reduce the journey across the canyon from two hours to just two minutes. From its opening through August 2026, the bridge attracted approximately 3.3 million visitors. The success of the bridge has been attributed to a surge in tourism, with over 300,000 visits recorded during the nine-day Chinese New Year holiday in February 2026.
