In the early hours of 2023, Colorado emerges as a hub of networking and professional development. It’s a pulsating hive of activity, with a series of events that serve as catalysts for growth, knowledge-sharing, and community building. The Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (SCWCC), the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce, and the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC have taken the lead, orchestrating a medley of gatherings, seminars, and workshops.

On January 16, the SCWCC is hosting a business luncheon at the Garden of the Gods Resort & Club. It’s a platform for women in business to connect, exchange ideas, and foster professional relationships. Two days later, on January 18, the SCWCC Office plays host to a session on ‘2023 Committee Essentials’, offering insights into effective committee management and operations.

In a simultaneous event on January 16, the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ‘Business After Hours’ gathering, a casual yet potent space for networking. The chamber’s calendar continues to brim with activity – a Networking Breakfast on January 18 featuring speaker Jon Wilcox, followed by sessions on understanding financial statements and Chamber orientation on January 23 and 24 respectively.

The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC is setting the stage for the ‘2024 State of the Chamber’ on January 24 at COS CityHub, a forward-looking event that discusses the chamber’s plans and strategies for the coming year.

Further enriching Colorado’s event landscape, the American Advertising Awards Gala is scheduled for February 24 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. There are also ongoing events like the Virtual Apple Club Meeting, the Colorado Springs Toastmasters meetings, a Resume Clinic, Customer Service Certification Training, and Interview Skills sessions, each designed to empower professionals and facilitate their growth.
