This One-Of-A-Kind Colorado Restaurant Lets You Dine Inside A Real 1953 Military Airplane
Visit Colorado's most extraordinary restaurant inside a real airplane The Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs uses a 1953 Boeing KC-97 Stratofreighter, a decommissioned military aircraft that can be dined inside. The restaurant features a full menu and a bar, and can also order a burger named after a military maneuver. The plane is not a replica, but an actual aircraft that served the United States Air Force. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with vintage photographs of aircraft and flight crews, and aviation memorabilia throughout the space. The menu is consistent with the aviation theme and the restaurant's sense of humor.
